SL were recently successful in winning a package of over 30 high volume A320 Neo standard bent and welded airframe pipe assemblies for a leading European aerospace OEM.
After a rigorous supplier sourcing process SL were selected to supply the package due to our cost competitiveness in achieving year on year cost downs, technical capability (although classified as a standard pipes package the assemblies contained some very challenging extremely tight radius 1 x Diameter pipe bends) and our high quality and delivery performance on other work packages we manufacture for their European and North African assembly plants.
Our proven ability to seamlessly in-load the package in a rapid lead time of 4 months from receipt of order through to FAIR and product prove out submissions and into full scale production delivery also influenced the customers supplier sourcing selection decision process.
